Creative Headboards! Folding Screens And Antique Doors

by Katie on June 13, 2011

Hope everyone had a happy Monday! So, have you wanted to add a touch of drama to your bedroom? Or maybe to just to your bedroom decor?  Well, I’ve become a huge fan of  using screens or antique doors for headboards. Doors and screens can be a creative and affordable to way to add dramatic impact to any bedroom.  They can be a great way to add a touch of Hollywood style, color and pattern into your decor without making a huge commitment to an expensive piece of furniture. So take a look!

What a great post! I especially LOVE the third picture down – the silver bedroom. We currently rent, and the screen seems to be an option for a color change when I can’t paint my walls. Thanks for the new ideas now swimming in my head!

Hi Katie,
Love your room designs! Do you have access to
the folding screen in Bed and Breakfast or the one
that is painted white in the blue room? I’ve been
looking for an antique screen, but they’re hard to find.
Thank you.
